TEASPILS Bachelor Theses: Effects of greening learning spaces on students at HAUP





The bachelor thesis examines the subjective impact of greened classrooms on concentration, mental and physical wellbeing such as the perception of the indoor climate. Further the perception of the students of the plants and the desire for greening the seminar rooms are picked out as central themes. Using qualitative, narrative group discussions of three trial groups data was generatet, which was analyzed according to Bohnsack. By that it was detected, that plants do positiv impacts on concentration and mental wellbeing. There was nothing realised by the students due to positve impacts on physical wellbeing or indoor climate. The results show the positive impact of indoor plants on learning.
